Wedding videography is professional filmmaking using cinema cameras, professional audio, intentional camera placement, and extensive editing to create cinematic and documentary wedding films.The Candid Edit is faster and more spontaneous, capturing vertical clips, behind-the-scenes moments, reactions, guest interactions, and social-ready content throughout the day.Wedding films preserve the story. The Candid Edit captures everything happening around it.

Can I book The Candid Edit without booking EZV wedding videography?

Absolutely. The Candid Edit can be booked as a standalone service, even if you already have another photographer or videographer. We work collaboratively with the rest of your creative team so everyone can capture what they need without competing for the same moments.

Yes. Our Film + Content collections combine professional cinematographers with a dedicated content creator, all working from one coordinated timeline and coverage plan.One team. Every perspective.

What’s the difference between a Cinematic Wedding Film and a Documentary Wedding Film?

A Cinematic Wedding Film is the emotionally crafted version of your wedding story, typically around 3–7 minutes depending on the collection. It combines beautiful imagery, meaningful audio, music, movement, and moments from throughout the day into a polished, story-driven film.
A Documentary Wedding Film is much longer and preserves more of the day as it actually happened, typically around 35–90+ minutes depending on your wedding and collection. It includes important moments such as your ceremony, vows, speeches, special dances, and other formalities in a more complete, chronological format.
One tells the story creatively. The other preserves the moments more fully.

How quickly will we receive our content and films?

Candid content is typically delivered within approximately 24 hours.Wedding Trailers are typically delivered in approximately 1 month.Documentary Wedding Films are typically delivered in approximately 3–4 months.

Why would we need two cinematographers?

Accepted Answer

Two cinematographers allow us to capture multiple things happening at the same time and give us more perspectives throughout the day. This is especially helpful when the couple is getting ready in different locations, during ceremonies, with larger guest counts, or for full-day coverage.

Will you film our ceremony and speeches in full?

Our documentary coverage is designed to preserve important moments such as the ceremony, vows, speeches, and special dances in full.

What does professional audio coverage include?

We use multiple audio sources throughout the day, which may include lavalier microphones, direct feeds from the DJ or band, external audio recorders, and on-camera backups. This helps us preserve your vows, speeches, and other important moments clearly.

Do you offer raw professional camera footage?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Raw professional camera footage can be added separately. This is different from the usable candid content delivered through The Candid Edit.

Do you use drones?

Yes. Drone coverage is included in select collections when weather, venue rules, airspace restrictions, and safety conditions allow. Because those factors are outside anyone’s control, drone coverage cannot be guaranteed for every wedding.

We work collaboratively with photographers and other vendors throughout the day. Our goal is to share space, communicate well, and make the experience easy for you while everyone gets the coverage they need.

That’s completely normal. Wedding timelines often shift a little. We stay flexible and work with your planner, venue, photographer, and other vendors to adjust as the day unfolds.
